ABOUT Our Electrical Company

Mears Electric was started in 1996. In 2013 Vic Mears sold the business to current owner and operator, Trevor J. Humphrey.  Trevor graduated from Tracy Area High school in 1999 and joined the Navy where he served as an electrician for six years. This service gave him the drive and desire to one day own his own electical company. After completing his tour in Southern California he moved home were he worked for an engineering company, designing and installing underground utilities for phone companies. Trevor was then accepted into an electrical program at Minnesota West in Canby, MN. He began working for electrcial contractors in the Marshall, MN area and upon graduating in 2009 he moved to Brookings, SD where he worked for a local electrical contractor. After receiveing his Journeymans license in 2009 & getting his masters in 2011 Trevor and his wife are proud to carry on the Mears Electric tradition of providing quality work for an affordable price. We serve the Southwest Minnesota Area and look forward to helping you with your next electrical project!
